The one and only Paul Gray, Slipknot's bassist and songwriter died on May 24th. He was one of the original members of Slipknot and he was one of the founders of the band as well.

Not necessarily...Slipknot hasn't broken up, but the next album due in 2012 will be their last. It's a shame really.

I agree, I'm sure others remember, as I do, that Paul Gray should never be forgotten as a great song writer and evidently as a great person.

Well, thanks for the respect at least. Most people so far in threads concerning Paul Gray's death don't respect it and say that he was just a bass player. They don't understand the importance of him in the band, and that he was one of the best metal songwriters of our time IMO.
